   Charles Lutwidge Dodgson made many great accomplishments in his life. He was born in a Village of Daresbury in England on January 27, 1832. His parents were Charles Dodgson and Frances Jane Lutwidge. He was not an only child, he had ten other siblings with seven sisters and three brothers, but the oldest of all of them. He grew up in different places as he grew up, he went to Richmond and Rugby which is also where he went to school with his best subjects were math, literature, and religious studies. Then he went to Oxford University, but his mother passed away at that time. He was awarded B. A for the first class honors in mathematics. During his life he was a sub-librarian at a Christ church then became a mathematical lecturer at the college he went to. He was never married and did not have children. Charles's hobbies were writing and photography, but gave up photography later on. During the time he was a mathematical lecturer, he was friend with Henry George Liddell the dean of the college. Henry had three daughter one of them was Alice Liddell that Charles got along with very well. Charles would tell them made up stories and one of them was called Alice’s Adventure Underground that Alice Liddell like very much. Alice asked, for Charles to write it for her so he did then other people persuaded him to publish it. Charles did but put it under the pen name Lewis Carroll and renamed it to Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. He created the name ‘Lewis Carroll’ by reversing his name Charles Lutwidge. His book was a success, then ‘Lewis Carroll’ became very well known and made a sequel Through the Looking-Glass, And What Alice Found There. Charles quits being a lecturer so he can concentrate on writing more books and wrote The Hunting Of The Snark, Jabberwocky, Sylvie and Bruno, and much more. Charles toured Russia with Henry Liddell. Then after visited Eastbourne for the summer every year, but died in January 14, 1898. Charles was buried at the Guilford Cemetery. Even after Charles Lutwidge died, he is still remembered and left a mark of his life in the world. Still today his book is being real throughout the world and giving an effect on the readers. His book gives us quite an understanding of the person he was very creative with his work. Alice’s Adventure in Wonderland is one of the greatest accomplishment he has made in his life and was proud of his success for it.
