"'You ought to be ashamed of yourself,' said Alice, 'a great girl like you,' (she might well say this), 'to go on crying in this way! Stop this moment, I tell you!' But she went on all the same, shedding gallons of tears, until there was a large pool around her, about four inches deep, and reaching half down the hall." pg. 10
(P) I think she will keep on crying more when she realizes she has cried four inches deep.(C) I think everybody can connect to Alice of crying for being ashamed of themselves becuase it has happened to most. And some people have probably told themselves to stop crying and started to cry even more. (CL) The reason why there is four inches of tears is because she is more than 9 feet tall so that makes her tears bigger. (E) I like how the author includes the part of her crying four inches deep because it can bring more problems. It intrests people more in the book and it shows the creativty the author uses.

"Would it be of any use, now, thought Alice to speak to this mouse? Everything is so out-of-the-way down here, that I should think very likely it can talk: at any rate, there's not hare in trying."
(Q) Would it not be of any use to talk to the mouse? (C) If I was in that situation, I would probably do anything because she has already done so many things and she didn't even question herself.(P) I think she will talk to the mouse, and the mouse will give a clue. The mouse will then probably disappear and again something will happen with Alice. The mouse will probably have something for her. (E) I like how the author is starting to include more animals.
