"'Tut, tut, child!' said the Duchess. ' Everything's got a moral, if only you can find it.' And she squeezed herself up closer to Alice's side as she spoke." page 74

(C) I think everybody has experienced something that taught them a moral. If not, they have either read or heard some. Personally, I have learned many morals from stories and experience.

(R) The Duchess is trying to say that everything and anything can teach someone a lesson. The thing is that you just have to look for it in order to find what it is. (E) I agree with the Duchess because that is how people learn many things in different situations. If there were no morals then people wouln't learn aor know what is wrong or right.

"Alice looked up, and there stood the Queen in front of them, with her arms folded, frowning like a thunderstorm" page 76

(Q) I wonder what the Queen will do? (C) I felt like I have been in the same situation, but it was with my mom and it wasn't as dramatic. She was very mad and she was going to yell at me. (P) I feel like the Queen will yell at them, but they will somehow get away with it. (E) I like how the author included figurtive language because it always makes it more intresting. It shows that the Queen is very upset and angry.
