" 'I suppose they are jurors.' She said this last word two or three times over to herself, being rather proud of it...that very few little girls of her age knew the meaning of it at all." pg.92
(R) Throughout the book, it has been made clear that Alice has lots of facts and memorized information in her mind, yet most of the time she does not understand any of it. Knowledge like this is not very useful is you don't know what any of it is. Which is why most of the people and animals she encounters are always confused on her knowledge. She seems to care lots about intelligence and school, often showing her pride for being aware of some information. She must have lived in a time period or area in the world that values intelligence and school. She must also be encouraged by multiple adult figures to know her facts.

" 'Collar that Dormouse!' the Queen shrieked out. 'Behead the Dormouse! Turn that Dormouse out of court! Suppress him! Pinch him! Off with his whiskers!' " pg.97
(E) I belive the author is trying to show the amount of authority that that the Queen believe she holds. She is constantly ordering around beheadings for little reasons in my opinion. Worst of all is that no one tries to stop her from doing so, even her own husband, the King. Because no one makes an effort to calm her done or reason with her so she continues to do it. It also seems that everyone is so used to it that they just kind of let it happen. From what I have seen the beheading orders have not really been carried out.
