"Why is a raven like a writing-desk? 'Come we shall have some fun now! Thought Alice. Pg.55

(E) The author is once again trying to show Alice's childish thoughts and behaviors. She is aware that she is in the middle of nowhere yet she puts no effort in trying to at least find her way home. She seems to have no next move or goal she is trying to reach at the moment. She is just going where she pleases and has no real direction towards somewhere. Which could mean she does not want to have a direction, she does not want to think about going home. There must be something at home that she does not want to confront.

"This piece of rudeness was more than Alice could bear: she got up in a great disgust, and walked off..." Pg.61

(R) Alice is real good at running from problems or things that in general she dislikes. In the beginning of the book Alice went after the rabbit, never once considering how in the world she was to go out again." In Alice did not once think about what would happen if she went after the rabbit then she must not care for her current life. Something back home must have borthered her so she basically ran from it. Before leaving the tea party she could have resolved her problems so she would not have had to leave. She leaves problems as they are which is not a great idea.
