“though she looked back once or twice, half hoping that they would call after her…”(62) (Q) Is the going to be the right decision or will she regret it in the future? Why does she leave if she is hoping for them to call her back? (C) I can relate to Alice when some one gets me mad or offends me I want to leave, but that is not aways the right decision to make. (P) I think Alice will regret this decision in the future by encountering another person or needing help to get of a situation. (E) The author is showing how Alice can be independent and trying to do things on her own and learning her mistakes alone. Alice is also showing how she can make her own decision with out having to ask another person. “ ‘There’s plenty of room!,’ said Alice indiglantly; and she sat down in a large arm-chair at one end of the table.” (54) (Q) Why does Alice go up to people without knowing them? (E) The author is showing how carless Alice is and this might affect her more on in her adventure. It also shows her personality and how to acts toward strangers also how she is as a person. (C) I can relate by also doing this on some days I go up to people and talk to them even if they’re strangers. Alice should also be carful with who she talks to.(P) I predict March Hare and Hatter will also help Alice in her adventure.
